How safe is drinking water from plastic bottles?plastic_bottles

We all know that drinking water is the healthiest and best drink for us but drinking water from plastic bottles might not be the best thing for us health wise or for our environment.

In the recent years, many environmentalists advocate using glass bottles or stainless steel to avoid wastage and tainting eco system. F**king plastic bottles and using less plastic is one of the best way to maintain a healthy ecosystem.

The real danger of bottled water comes from a bottled water leaching plastic toxins (from the bottles) while waiting for us to drink them. Plastic drinking bottles contain many chemicals, some of which interfere with hormones in the body. These chemicals include bisphenol-A, or BPA, and phthalates, among others.

A recent test on 250 bottled water in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Thailand, and the United States identified plastic particles in major bottles water brands like Aqua, Aquafina, Dasani, Evian, Nestle Pure Life and San Pellegrino. The plastic particles  included nylon, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polypropylene, which is used to make bottle caps.
