Q: What are some of your absolute must-haves in your home during the Christmas season? Whether it’s decorations, food, or drinks—what can't you go without?
Dawn:
“The things that I must have during the upcoming festival season include lots of festive treats like chocolates, and of course tonnes of beverages as we host parties for friends and family. But these drinks must be low in sugar or zero sugar because I'm very particular about that.”

Wayne:
“We always make it a point to decorate our corridor to lighten up the festive season (Don't have photo of it now! Still work in progress!). My kids will be opening an advent calendar every year during this period, and it is quite fun to see their anticipation of what's to come daily. Oh yes, log cakes are a must!”

Szeying:
“Hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies because my husband Brandon is a sucker for it, and a Christmas tree set up now that we have our own place!”

Brandon:
“Personally, we’ve not had something consistent, being away from home for the past few Christmases, but this year we will have our own Christmas tree to celebrate our first Christmas in our new home!”
Aaron:
“A must-have for me is a nice, cold cocktail with SodaStream sparkling water to keep the holiday vibes going strong! It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season!”

Q: What decorations or home elements make it really feel like Christmas for you? Are there any unique or personal touches you like to include?
Dawn:
“The Christmas tree for sure because it is the main decorative piece at home that brings on the Christmas vibes. Other unique and personal touches include fairy lights!!”
Wayne:
“My corridor is pretty large, so we have quite a bit of space to play with. We usually line tinsels along the corridor railing (with my neighbors' blessings, of course!) and put up a Christmas wreath, usually one with Pokémon on it. And Santa socks! Yeah, we don’t experience snow here in Singapore, so we try to make it as shiny (silver) or white as possible for the decorations.”

Szeying:
“The Christmas tree, as we have some ornaments from our travel souvenirs that we'll probably place on.”
Brandon:
“I think fairy lights and sparkling stars add to the mood of Christmas—anything that makes our night feel special. We have to start decorating our tree to find out!”

Aaron:
“My family has a fun tradition where we exchange Christmas gifts wrapped in festive paper to keep things unique! The presents aren’t under a tree (we don’t have one) but instead, they’re placed near the TV!”
